Solutions Engineer

Hakimo is an AI Assistant platform that works seamlessly with existing physical security access control and video systems. Using the Hakimo AI assistant, alarms are evaluated in seconds, so security teams can focus on the real threats to protect people, property, information, and reputation.  Founded by Stanford AI Researchers, backed by experts in the AI industry and VC firms.

We’re looking for a solutions engineer who will work closely with multiple teams to ensure that customers realize the full value and potential of Hakimo’s software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all technical aspects of customer deployments, including design and planning, onboarding, verification of deployment
  • Work with the engineering team to handle technical tasks in the post-sales process and to solve customer issues (especially related to onboarding)
  • Help sales representatives with technical questions related to the product
  • Plan, set up, and run pilot deployments
  • Serve as a technical point of contact for customers

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • An Engineering degree in CS/EE or a related field
  • Experience with distributed systems to quickly isolate and troubleshoot issues
  • Networking fundamentals to understand and debug networking issues in customer environments
  • Empathy to work with customers, and address pain points

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Linux
  • Prior experience designing physical security systems
  • Experience with Kubernetes
