We’re looking for an  IT Support Engineer who will work closely with multiple teams to ensure that customers realize the full value and potential of Hakimo’s software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Install and Configure the Client Computer Systems, NVR/VMS systems and Camera/Speaker modules based on the listed recommendations.
• Familiarity with Linux Networking commands, Shell Script, VMS/NVR systems and Ansible+Jenkins. 
• Document and Keep track of all the tenants, installed modules (hardware, software) and 3rd party Systems.
• Deploy new tenants as well as any incremental hardware/software upgrades for the customers.
• Diagnose Software, Hardware or Networking Issues and mitigate ASAP. 
• Perform Site Visits to install hardware, rack the machines and set-up networking, validate End 2 End deployments and create Site Assessment Reports.
• Monitor the overall health of all the customers in terms of system/application solution.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

• An Engineering degree/diploma in CS/EE or a related field
• Proven Experience in hardware & software installation and configuration in the recent past
• Able to work independently and get solutions in different environments
• Able to identify missing integrations, environmental issues and raise it with stakeholders
• Able to identify issues proactively and not wait for customers to report the issues
• Passionate about automation and ability to automate as many workflows as possible

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Linux, Networking and Administration, Configuration (3+ years)
• Familiarity with hardware as well as software deployments (3+ years)
• Prior experience on physical security systems (2+ years)
• Experience with Kubernetes (2+ years)
