As we scale, we are looking for a dedicated Finance Analyst to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth.
Role Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Finance Analyst to own our invoicing and accounts receivable operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, systems, and processes, and who takes pride in ensuring accurate billing, timely collections, and clean financial records.
You will work closely with our finance and operations teams and partner with a full-time associate to ensure invoices are sent on time, payments are tracked accurately, and customers are followed up with professionally.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in finance or accounting is required, including accounts receivable experience with U.S. companies or customers.
- Proficiency in Quickbooks and online banking platforms.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets & G-Suite.
- Excellent communication and strong attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Friendly, collaborative, and dependable team player.
- Comfortable with a flexible work schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Generate, send, and manage customer invoices using QuickBooks.
- Track accounts receivable, customer payments, and outstanding balances.
- Follow up with customers on overdue invoices via email and calls in a professional manner.
- Reconcile payments received through online banking platforms with QuickBooks records.
- Maintain accurate AR aging reports and share regular status updates with leadership.
- Support accounts payable activities such as vendor payments and expense tracking.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, customer success, and operations to resolve billing issues.
- Assist with ad-hoc finance and operational projects as the company scales.
Bonus Experience
- Experience with Asana, Google Sheets, Slack, and other project-tracking tools.
- Background in physical security or SaaS solutions.
- Startup experience is a significant plus.
