About the Role
Hakimo is seeking a Customer-Facing Technical Project Manager (TPM) to own and drive the successful delivery of customer implementations and technical onboarding projects. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless transition from sales to post-sales by managing customer-facing technical programs from kickoff through go-live and stabilization.
As a TPM, you will serve as the primary project owner for customer deployments, coordinating across Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, and Security Operations while acting as a trusted technical partner to customers. You will translate customer requirements into actionable project plans, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure projects are delivered on time with high quality in a fast-paced AI SaaS environment.
What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end delivery of customer-facing technical projects, including onboarding, implementations, integrations, and go-live readiness
- Serve as the primary project point of contact for customers, setting expectations, managing timelines, and driving accountability
- Lead customer kickoff meetings, technical discovery sessions, implementation planning, and deployment reviews
- Translate customer business and technical requirements into clear project plans, milestones, dependencies, and success criteria
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across Solutions Engineering, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Security Operations
- Manage project risks, scope changes, and dependencies, proactively identifying issues and driving resolution
- Ensure smooth integration between Hakimo’s cloud-based AI platform and customer on-prem camera and security systems
- Maintain clear project documentation including schedules, RAID logs, implementation plans, and post-deployment retrospectives
- Drive continuous improvement in customer implementation processes, templates, and delivery best practices
- Partner with Customer Success to support handoffs, adoption, and long-term customer satisfaction
What You Bring
Core Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, Implementation Manager, or Customer-Facing Program Manager in a SaaS or enterprise technology environment
- Proven experience managing post-sales, customer-facing technical implementations
- Strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical customer stakeholders
Technical Background
- Strong understanding of SaaS platforms, cloud architectures, APIs, and system integrations
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, DNS, NAT, firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs
- Familiarity with physical security systems, IP cameras, NVRs, or IoT/video-based technologies is highly preferred
- Ability to engage in technical discussions with engineers while maintaining a customer-oriented delivery mindset
Customer & Delivery Skills
- Demonstrated success managing multiple customer projects simultaneously with competing priorities
- Strong customer presence with the ability to build trust, manage expectations, and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Experience handling scope changes, escalations, and delivery risks in customer-facing engagements
- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Asana)
Communication & Leadership
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including customer-facing documentation and executive status updates
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on outcomes, adoption, and long-term success
Preferred / Nice to Have
- Experience in AI, computer vision, security, or cybersecurity-related domains
- Background in Solutions Engineering, Professional Services, or Customer Success
- PMP, Agile, or Scrum certifications are a plus
- Willingness to work in a hybrid environment with occasional customer-related travel
